Ariana Hodes- Producer/Actor
Ariana grew up with a heart of cold granite stone which has started to slowly melt upon her arrival to the magical land of tots supes awesome abbrevs, dude. At one point or another she has tried her hand at, and considers herself an expert on: flute, cello, piano, guitar, bass guitar, alto sax, knitting, embroidery, friendship bracelet making, candlemaking, baking, typing on a typewriter, darkroom photography, home recording, teasing monkeys, and pickling vegetables grown in her garden.
Caroline Watson- Writer
Caroline started writing because she has a unique disorder which causes her to break out in hives if a camera goes anywhere near her, but her catfish boyfriend thinks its adorbz. She started working in production for the very same reason. Caroline has worked on "Don Jon's Addiction," "Untitled Nina Simone" and Conan on TBS. The feature she co-wrote with her friends Case Barden and Kieran Thompson titled "Broken Leg" will also be released soon. She is currently working at Fedora Entertainment which just had 3 network pilots ordered.
Dan Chen- Director/DP
Dan is a filmmaker based in Los Angeles. His online portfolio can be found at http://somedays.thisissome where.net.
Darby Bricker was born on the 4th of July. Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe it was the 4th of September. Ok, maybe her cat was born on the 4th of July. In any case, one of them graduated with a B.A. in Theater Arts from CSU Fullerton. Since graduating, Darby has been involved in numerous theatrical productions around Los Angeles, where she has played a biblical whore, an autistic lesbian from the early 1900’s, and Harriet Tubman. Now a resident of the Los Feliz neighborhood of LA, Darby can often be found classing-it-up at fancy restaurants between the hours and 5 and 7pm. Because that’s when happy hour is, and that’s when she can afford to go. Darby’s cat can never afford to go to happy hour.
James Weeks is a Los Angeles-based actor, originally from the east coast. He moved to the Midwest to get a piece of paper with some letters and Latin words on it, then moved to the Allthewaywest to say words that some nice people put on paper for him. Sometimes he even says his own words, but that’s tricky and doesn’t always work out, so he tends to keep it to things written by other people.
Jamie Sara Slovon- Actor
Jamie is primarily a human being, but occasionally she's a friend, actor, sister, daughter, couch potato. She hails from Maryland, but often lies and says Washington, D.C. She met most of these cool cats whilst getting her undergrad degree at USC --and it's all kind of blurry from then on. Check out her website here! (Shameless plug). Jamie likes Monkeybread and Popcorn.
Kaelson Sevigny- Producer/Actor
Kaelson Sevigny grew up impish and chargeless in the rolling blue hills of Kentucky. She graduated from USC with a major in Bad Ass and a minor in Four Loko. Kaelson currently works as an expert basket weaver for the Illuminati and moonlights as a highly paid escort for the LA branch of the Dixie Mafia, which speaks to her Southern roots. Her hobbies include stealing other people's grocery carts at the supermarket and stomping on teacup yorkies. Much love goes out to her fellow Bite Sizers who manage to make her laugh even in the knee-chest position.
Laura Formisano- Marketing Coordinator
Laura hails from the Dirty South where she earned her bachelor's degree in History at the University of Kentucky. She then felt, given her non related degree, it was not only her duty but right to then spear-head Bite Sized's marketing campaign given her little-to-no expertise in the field. Laura is currently working as an organic chinchilla and parsnip farmer. When Laura isn't tweeting, instagraming or making Vines for the cause, she's probably knitting sweaters for her small dog, Brian (the love of her life), swapping out her nail polish color twice a week or continuing her search in the mean streets of LA for the perfect brunch place (must have appropriately strong AND spicy Bloody Mary's - bonus points if they're bottomless...mama likes her drank). For any marketing inquiries or if you're just wondering how much it would cost to rent one of the cast members for a night, she can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org - discounts for friends of friends!
Lexi Pappas- Creator/Producer/Actor
Lexi Pappas hails from Central Florida where jorts abound and gators are kept in pens outside some bars. Because neither camouflage nor Lilly Pulitzer seemed to flatter her skin tone, she moved to LA and got a degree from USC in something super useful *not. She’s managed to trick a bunch of people into letting her watch their kids for money, so if you see her with a baby, it’s not hers and she probably didn’t steal it. Probably. The best night of her life was when she had a Frankie Valli tribute band play at her 21st birthday party and forced Nick Marcone to hold her up all night. She feels most alive when shopping for home goods and most herself when wearing sequins.
Lindsay Fishkin- Actor
After a very successful childhood, performing both traditional and avant-garde theatre in the most progressive playhouses (high schools) in the San Francisco Bay Area (including the American Conservatory Theatre), Lindsay Fishkin decided to test her liberality at the University of Southern California, where she majored in Theatre and minored in Communications and Sorority Avoidance. Currently, Lindsay and her SAG-AFTRA membership card are wreaking havoc on the streets of Los Angeles. When she is not hashing out her childhood at the Stephanie Feury Studio Theatre she is filming small roles in big movies, big roles in small movies, and commercials alike. Most importantly, Lindsay is a proud member of the Bite Sized and Silver Lake communities, bringing hipness to you wherever she goes. If you see Lindsay out, just ask her to dance. If Lindsay is not dancing, she wants to be.
Maisie Klompus- Actor
Maisie hails from San Francisco, where the sourdough is perfectly sour and crusty, as are the local hippies. She courageously made her way down to Los Angeles in spite of her genetic NorCal aversion to SoCal life to enlist in the betterment and safety of America, in hopes of becoming one of the few, the proud, the aspiring actors. She attended USC and graduated with a progressive degree in Waiting (tables and in general). Very grateful to have found an employment tailor-fit to her double major expertise right out of college, Maisie works as a server at a Santa Monica diner, where she reads various science fiction novels and fastidiously marries ketchups, eagerly anticipating the few customers who trickle in to get some french fries.
Matthew Cruz- Writer
Matthew Cruz is a TV and film writer in Los Angeles. He loves Meryl Streep and McDonald's and not much else.
Nick's favorite genre of music has been Urban Contemporary for about a week now. His jungle-themed bedroom is a solid testament to his affinity for adventure, as is his continual exploration of his home city of Los Angeles. Like much of Generation Y, Nick spends an inordinate amount of time pondering the meaning of life, the importance of human existence, and the age old question of what to do when he "grows up." As a recent college graduate, he's running out of time on that last one, but Bite Sized is a nice place to start for someone interested in entertainment. He would like to thank the webseries' creators and producers for inviting him to be a part of this project. Ask him anything you want about geography or history, especially the Civil War.
Sam Gurnick- Actor
Samantha, a native Chicagoan who never really goes by Samantha anyway and prefers Sam, ended her seven-year stint as a vegetarian and pursued meatier pastures, graduating from Indiana University in the spring of 2011. Though a full blown yogi/juicer, Sam still tries to liven up kale salad with far too much feta cheese. Sam prefers Artist's Way to Going Clear, and she is particularly skilled at untangling jewelry as well as flexibility. Sam only hashtags or instagrams her cat #Patchki, who is well on his way to becoming his own meme.
